CoolSculpting is a non-surgical fat reduction procedure that uses controlled cooling to target and eliminate stubborn fat cells. The technique is formally known as cryolipolysis. Consultation
Before undergoing the CoolSculpting procedure at LASE Cosmetic, patients have a consultation with Lisa, our Aesthetic Lead who assesses the areas of concern and discusses the expected results.
Treatment Planning
Based on the assessment, a treatment plan is created to target specific areas. CoolSculpting is not intended for overall weight loss but rather for contouring and reducing stubborn pockets of fat.
Procedure
During the procedure, a Coolsculpting applicator is applied to the targeted area, delivering controlled cooling to freeze and crystallize the fat cells beneath the skin.
Fat Cell Elimination
The frozen fat cells undergo a process called apoptosis, leading to their natural elimination from the body over the following weeks and months.
Results
Gradually, patients may notice a reduction in the treated areas’ fat bulges, resulting in a more sculpted and toned appearance.
CoolSculpting is considered a non-invasive alternative to surgical procedures like liposuction. It is important to note that individual results can vary, and multiple sessions may be needed for optimal outcomes.
