Renuvion® Skin Tightening
Renuvion (formerly J-Plasma) is a less invasive alternative to traditional cosmetic surgery. It uses helium plasma and radiofrequency energy to tighten skin and soft tissue, helping improve results with reduced recovery time and risk. It may be suitable for patients who are not candidates for or do not want excisional surgery.
Skin Lesion Removal
Skin lesions such as skin tags, moles, cysts and lipomas are often removed for aesthetic reasons. But other lesions may be of concern and need assessing by a skin cancer specialist.
Carpal Tunnel
Compression of the median nerve at the wrist is known as carpal tunnel syndrome. It can result in mild symptoms such as tingling of the fingers but can sometimes cause symptoms that interfere with your lifestyle, such as pain and weakness. Often, the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome can be non-surgical, but sometimes the pressure on the nerve needs surgical release, which can usually be performed as a local anaesthetic day surgery procedure.
Trigger Finger
Tendons in the fingers can develop nodules over time that may catch in the finger, causing “trigger finger” where the finger locks in a bent position and then suddenly releases. It can be painful and may need treatment, which is often non-surgical but sometimes requires surgery.
